Various - May to June

These just parked here, in case I can get around to writing up review notes eventually... (!)

CCPS Trivia night, really should get a mention...

Liam Finn - The Oxford Art Factory - 10 June: a good gig, and a funny bloke with obvious talent. Taking the whole "Mr Percival" looping thing to a new level with drums and multiple guitars etc, but in the end the performance was overwhelmed with 'trickery', as opposed to the great music (for example) that Mr Percival ends up creating, irrespective of the trickery...

Will Anderson - 28 May: taping the Gruen Factor - amusing but can't see it lasting!

Phrase - Annandale - 25 May: a gig that reinforced what a talent Phrase is, but which was massively disappointing (a totally empty room), and peculiar. Enjoyed it nonetheless, and Ben, Kristy, Willo, T-Bone and Stephe did manage to get Patty and David to the venue (and, at 70, they were pretty comfortably the oldest folk there!).

Kate Miller-Heidke - Annandale - 9 May: a great show, lots of fun - Pam, Freebie, Gabbie, Brian, Sue, Stephe

Cindy Blackman - Basement - 7 May: major disappointment, and one of the more expensive tickets we've shelled out for in some time...

Mess Hall - Gaelic Club - 2 May: a great gig for Sue, Kristy and Stephe. Lots of energy, great room, and going ooorf. Love Jed!
